Y’all, come get into this: Demi Lovato does not want people calling extraterrestrials “aliens” and prefers to call them “ETs” instead.
During an interview with Australian outlet PEDESTRIAN.tv, Lovato responded to fan speculation that they have a new unreleased song called “Aliens”. Demi denied the rumor and said their fans should know that Lovato doesn’t call them “aliens” because it’s a “derogatory term for anything”.

Lovato is currently promoting the four-part docuseries for their new Peacock show titled Unidentified With Demi Lovato, which features Demi, their sister, Dallas Lovato, and their best friend, Matthew Montgomery. The trio searches for extraterrestrial life. The experience has changed Matthew’s mind about the possibility of other life.
Demi previously shared their experience with filming, “Before we shot the show, I was a skeptic. And now since we shot the show I haven’t stopped talking about it,” Matthew shares. “I was like, ‘Are cameras recording this?’ And I think Demi went, ‘Yeah, this is a TV show, we’re filming.’ And I was like, ‘Good because I cannot believe what is happening right now.'”
