Demi Lovato Engaged To Boyfriend Max Ehrich: ‘I Knew I Loved You The Moment I Met You’

The singer took to Instagram to share the exciting news. The former Young and the Restless actor Max Ehrich popped the big question on Wednesday, just less than four months after it was revealed that they were dating. Ehrich, 29, asked the singer to marry him in Malibu, California, and gave her a stunning diamond ring by celebrity jeweler Peter Marco.

In a sweet Instagram post, Lovato, 27, opened up about saying “yes” to the man she wants to spend the rest of her life with: “I knew I loved you the moment I met you,” the singer wrote to her future husband. “It was something I can’t describe to anyone who hasn’t experienced it firsthand but luckily you did too.. I’ve never felt so unconditionally loved by someone in my life (other than my parents) flaws and all.” She went on to say, “You never pressure me to be anything other than myself,” she continued. “And you make me want to be the best version of myself. I’m honored to accept your hand in marriage. I love you more than a caption could express but I’m ecstatic to start a family and life with you. I love you forever my baby. My partner. Here’s to our future!!!!”
As PEOPLE pointed out, back in 2011, Ehrich posted on Twitter that all he wanted “for Christmas was Demi Lovato.”
“#cantalwaysgetwhatyouwant,” looks like he got his wish.
