DDG Says He’s Standing With Gunna As People Try To Label Him A Snitch: “I Ain’t Finna Switch Up Over No Allegations… I Just Don’t Ride Waves”

A lot of people are not feeling rapper Gunna right now amid allegations he snitched on Young Thug to get out of the slammer!

While many have been giving the “Pushing P” artist the cold shoulder, there’s one person who’s been standing by his side. Rapper DDG recently chopped it up with DJ Akademiks and explained why he’s not switching up on his fellow collaborator.

DDG said he’s not down with the so-called street code or showing fake love, which is why he’s not quick to hop on the “IDFW Gunna” train. “I look at Gunna as a cool n*gga. A ni**a that embraced me as an artist and put me in a different type of space… Not necessarily on some big homie sh*t but on some ‘I just f*ck with him a different type of way.’” DDG added that the RICO case and snitching claims “ain’t got nothing to with me. That’s how I look at it.”

He went on to say, “It ain’t even like me and Gunna like best friends or no sh*t. It’s just like I only f*ck with a few industry n*ggas and he’s one of them. So it’s like, I ain’t finna switch up over no allegations or whatever other n*ggas saying. I just don’t ride waves that’s just not what I do.”

More On Gunna’s Release

As we previously reported, Atlanta rapper Gunna walked out of the Fulton County Jail after pleading guilty in a RICO case on Dec. 14, 2022. His entire sentenced will be terminated after he completes his community service.

The 29-year-old, real name Sergio Kitchens, who was among 28 people linked to Atlanta record label YSL was arrested back in May. Fellow rapper Young Thug was also arrested and accused of criminal gang activity. The jailed entertainer is facing trial right now and things appear to be heating up.

Prosecutors in a trial of Atlanta-based rapper Young Thug have said they plan to use some of his lyrics as evidence against him. So far, Young Thug, whose real name is Jeffery Williams, has pleaded not guilty to all of the charges against him, which include racketeering and gang violence.

It was said that Young Thug, 31, who remains behind bars is facing up to 20 years in prison if he is found guilty.
