More On Drake Bell
Bell rose to fame as a child actor on the hit Nickelodeon show Drake & Josh, which aired from 2004-2007. Since then, he has continued to work in entertainment as a musician and voice actor but has largely stayed out of the public eye compared to other child stars of his era. This incident is a sobering reminder of the challenges faced by celebrities in maintaining their mental health while living under constant scrutiny and pressure from fans and media.
Following his exit from Nickelodeon, he has found himself in a lot of trouble.
Bell previously pleaded guilty to a felony charge of attempting to endanger children and a misdemeanor charge of disseminating matters harmful to juveniles back in June 2021.
That incident took place in 2007, back when the actor when was just 31 and the girl in question was 15 years old.
At the time of the incident, police said their meeting was planned after two months of social media messages that “at times” were “sexual in nature.”
He was taken into custody for a DUI in 2015 and was released on bail for $20,000. He later pled no contest to a misdemeanor charge and served a four-day jail sentence.
