A woman who had just given birth two months prior made a FaceTime call to the father of her babies after being shot in the head during the Dayton, Ohio mass shooting.

The DailyMail reports that 27-year-old Lois Oglesby was one of the victims who tragically passed away after Connor Betts opened fire on Sunday at 1am in a busy Dayton nightlife district.

Lois held on after being hit in the head with a bullet and managed to call her partner Daryl Lee, who shares the moment via a Facebook post,

“She FaceTimed me and said ‘Babe I just got shot in my head, I need to get to my kids,” he wrote.

“Like that’s strong as f**k to hold off to call me. She was letting me know she loved me and to take care of these kids… I got you babe. I can’t stop crying.”

Lois leaves behind her two-month-old daughter Reign and six-year-old daughter Hannah.

Lois was in nursing school and looked forward to a career in helping people. She had her whole life ahead of her.
