We’re sad to announce that Davido’s son, Ifeanyi has died after drowning in a swimming pool. We confirmed with sources close to the situation that the 3-year-old has passed away.
Ifeanyi is Davido’s only son who was born on October 20th, 2019. Reports began to surface on Twitter today about the swimming pool incident so we reached out to a source and was told that the reports floating on the internet were true.

His son’s birthday was just a few weeks ago, and Davido penned a heartfelt message to his son on Instagram saying, “I pray with all my heart that God grants you perfect health and pure happiness for as long as humanly possible. You will grow to be greater than me, Happy birthday son. #BIG3.”
