Dave Chappelle Tells Critics To ‘Shut The F**k Up Forever’ In Emmy Acceptance Speech

In addition to legendary comedian/actor Eddie Murphy winning big at the 2020 Emmy Awards, fellow comedian/actor Dave Chappelle won three awards, and told critics to “shut the f**k up forever” during his acceptance speech.

After winning three Emmys, with his 2019 Netflix special ‘Dave Chappelle: Sticks & Stones — ‘ (1) for Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded); (2) Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special; and (3) Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special — Chappelle uploaded a video to his Instagram, featuring a nice message to his haters.

In the clip, Chappelle begins, “Boy, comes as a complete surprise. I mean, I read all the reviews and they said so many terrible things. They were embarrassed for me. I lost my way. It wasn’t even worth watching. I hope all you critics learn from this. This is a teachable moment — shut the f**k up forever!”

After an immediate round of applause, Chappelle continued to give a huge kudos to the rest of the other talent and comedians nominated for Emmys.
