Daniel Craig Says James Bond Should Not Be A Woman
Daniel Craig is getting ready to say goodbye to his role as 007 agent, James Bond, but he still had a few thoughts on who the next tsar should be and he is adamant that it should not be a woman.
The former Bond spoke to the Radio Times that he thinks there are “better” parts for women to play than the iconic role of James Bond.
“Why should a woman play James Bond when there should be a part just as good as James Bond, but for a woman?” the 53-year-old actor said.

“No Time To Die,” which will premiere in theaters on Oct. 8 is Craig’s last Bond film. Since his departure, there has been a lot of speculation on who the next 007 agents could be.
Barbara Broccoli, the producer of the Bond series previously spoke with Variety in 2020 and said that “James Bond can be of any color, but he is male.”
She added that she would rather write new characters specifically for women, rather than make the iconic lead role a woman.
