Welp, Todd and Julie Chrisley won’t have a great start to the new year as they’ll be starting their time in the slammer.

The reality stars who were sentenced to prison last month for fraud and tax crimes, have been ordered to begin their prison sentences in Florida, according to documents from the US Marshals Service that were recently filed with the court. As CNN notes citing the documents, the couple has been ordered to report to two different federal prisons on January 17.

As it was previously reported, the “Chrisley Knows Best” stars were found guilty back in June of conspiracy to defraud banks out of more than $30 million in fraudulent loans. They were also found guilty of several tax crimes, including attempting to defraud the Internal Revenue Service. As a result of their alleged crimes, Todd Chrisley was handed down 12 years in prison with three years of supervised release.

As for his wife Julie, she was sentenced to seven years in prison and three years of supervised release. She has been assigned to FCI Marianna SCP, a “medium security federal correctional institution with an adjacent minimum security satellite camp” in Marianna, Florida.

As Insider reported, the couple’s accountant, Peter Tarantino, was sentenced to 36 months in prison and will surrender to custody on May 1 after hip surgery.

It was said that Todd and Julie requested a new trial but were denied on Oct. 28. The two celebs also reportedly requested to be free of the criminal charges, which unsurprisingly was also denied.

Following their guilty verdict, Keri Farley, special agent in charge of FBI Atlanta, released a statement from the U.S. Attorney’s office saying, “As today’s outcome shows, when you lie, cheat and steal, justice is blind as to your fame, your fortune, and your position. In the end, when driven by greed, the verdict of guilty on all counts for these three defendants proves once again that financial crimes do not pay.”

The two have previously denied any wrongdoing.
