Looks like there wasn’t only trouble in paradise but also violence for Kroy Biermann and Kim Zolciak.
As previously reported, the two decided to end their marriage last month after 11 years of marriage. The shocking news came amid reports that the couple has also been dealing with financial issues, reportedly owing the IRS $1.1. million in unpaid taxes. While it seems like a lot has been going in between them, more details are being shared about their crumbling relationship and what could have contributed to their divorce.
New details reveal that Kroy Biermann reportedly told authorities that Kim Zolciak had punched him in the head just a day before he filed to split from the reality star. @PageSix, who reviewed the police report, notes that a pair of officers from the Milton Police Department visited the home they formerly shared, on May 4. Zolciak told police that Biermann had allegedly locked her valuable items she owned in a safe that were worth $175,000 – including designer purses and jewelry – and hid the key from her. However, Biermann reportedly told law enforcement that the property was acquired by both parties during their marriage and that he had planned on selling them to help with their ongoing expenses, according to the report.

During the incident, Zolciak reportedly requested police remain on the premises while she took items from the home and put them in her car. Despite that, an argument continued between the two as they remained in the home.
Per the report, police reminded them that they had to remain cordial to one another, as their four kids were all at home at the time of the incident. Together Kim, 44, and Kroy, 37, share Kroy, 11, Kash, 10, and twins, Kaia and Kane, 9. While they were married, Kroy adopted Kim’s oldest daughters, Brielle, 26, and Ariana, 21.
While neither of them have released a statement about their divorce, Kroy spoke out for the first time amid all the drama. He said, “When I look back on my life, I see pain, mistakes and heartache,” his quote read. “When I look in the mirror, I see strength, learned lessons and pride in myself.” In the photo’s caption, he added, “Great memories with all 6 of my kids as well! One day at a time…”

In response to Kim’s divorce petition, Kroy filed and asked for sole physical and legal custody of the pair’s four minor children. Kim had initially asked to have primary physical custody and joint legal custody when she filed. Although the two have both been living in their Georgia home since their big split, Kroy has asked for possession of the mansion, according to TMZ, who obtained a copy of Kroy’s petition.
