An intruder was reportedly shot at DaBaby’s home in North Carolina, it has been revealed.

The incident took place at 7:45 PM on Wednesday when the unidentified individual was said to have trespassed on the gated property owned by the Red Light Green Light rapper.

A press release made by the Troutman Police Department read, “Officers arrived on the scene where they found one subject suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The subject was transported by Iredell County EMS to a medical facility for treatment.

“This is an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the community at large.”

The statement further revealed that a 911 call was made, reporting that the trespasser had been shot near the football field, just footsteps away from the multi-million-dollar house owned by DaBaby, whose real name is Jonathan Kirk.

During the 911 call, a responder had instructed the caller to “secure his weapon” before cops arrived to investigate the situation, but the person on the phone was said to have refused, fearing that there “could be more intruders” headed toward the residence.

The intruder, who was shot shortly after the call, was taken to the hospital where they were treated for a wound to the lower extremity.

It’s believed that DaBaby’s North Carolina mansion is one of his primary homes where the 30-year-old commonly stays when he’s not on the road, though it’s still unclear whether he or his family members were at home when the shooting occurred.

The $2.3 million compound boasts five bedrooms and spreads out over 9 acres with an accompanying pool and stadium floodlights. Iredell County services have been called to the address a whopping 31 times within a year since DaBaby first moved in back in December 2019.

Past incidents involving the cops include four noise complaints, 14 times when the burglar alarm went off, and multiple domestic arguments.

Neighbors have also called the police on DaBaby, complaining about the extensive construction work he underwent since moving in two years ago, including a freshly-built concrete wall, bright stadium-style lights, and guard towers.

The incident comes four years after the Levitating chart-topper was arrested in connection with a shooting at a Walmart in North Carolina, where a man was pronounced dead after succumbing to his injuries. DaBaby claimed he wasn’t the person who pulled the trigger but was still convicted of misdemeanor carrying a concealed weapon.
