DaBaby is once again involved in some drama! This time he’s being accused of running off with $20K that was allegedly given to him by a YouTuber.
So what the heck happened? Well, the saga unfolded when content creator Micheal Wright (LamikeJr) shared snippets from the set on various social media platforms, capturing DaBaby walking away and engaging in what seemed like a heated exchange with the YouTuber. LamikeJr explained, “| LOST 20k TODAY ? ? % . @dababy RAN OF WITH 20K I PAID HIM FOR A VIDEO. I DID EVERYTHING I WAS SUPPOSED TO DO PLEASE DONT SCAM ME BRO THIS IS MY LIVELIHOOD. THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MY BLOW UP VIDEO. MY WAY OUT. HOW IM POSED TO MAKE IT OUT IF I LOSE ALL MY VIDEOS?? IM 19 BRU PLEASE GOD WHY DOES EVERYTHING HAVE TO GO BAD. I DONT EVEN HAVE A FULL VIDEO I SPENT MY LAST ON THAT & THIS HAPPENS??” In part, he also claimed his grandmother contributed to the $20K to make this all happen.
“WHY ME GOD WHAT DID I DO.. @DABABY PLEASE DONT RUN OFF WIT MY BAG PLEASE. ILL FIX WHATEVER YOU NEED BRO THAT WAS MY LAST. THIS MY DREAM. I WAS WORKING TOWARDS THIS JUST FOR IT TO BE TAKEN AWAY FROM ME AGAIN. PLEASE COME FINISH THE VIDEO. PLEASE DONT SCAM ME BRO.. I SUPPORT U BRO PLEASE DONT FUCK OVER ME BRO I PLAY ALL YOUR MUSIC.”
DaBaby has since responded to these claims and didn’t deny walking off set. In fact, he hints at another reasoning for doing so. While sharing that he plans to give the $20K to each women that was alleged setup to get publicly embarrassed, DaBaby also accused LamikeJr of lying on his grandmother who he claims gave him $10K to help him pay for his appearance.
In a follow-up IG Story post, DaBaby added, “CASE CLOSED. Ain’t got nothing more to say bout it. You believe a n*gga that a play on his grandma that’s on you & whatever n*ggas wanna do, Imk so i can speed it up. Ladies who was there Tap in we gone split this 20k & leave this lying ass nigga where he at. & when I catch yo sneaky a** ima show you some love so you know how much I care about you Right plan. Wrong Person. @lahmikeir Keep hustling boy.
Clearly still upset and emotional, LamikeJr quickly responded to DaBaby’s post. He said, “U making fun of my content bro that’s wild bro.. @dababy I really looked up to you gang .. why u playing with me .. I get you left with my $20k ..but u didn’t have to make fun of my content bro that’s f*cked up.. making fun of a 19 tryna make it out not cool bro 100.”
