DaBaby has always made it clear that he’s not the one to mess with, but he recently proved that following a recent incident that went down at his house!
As we previously reported, DaBaby was confirmed as the person who let off gunfire at his North Carolina estate after someone trespassed on his property. Law enforcement sources said that the rapper exchanged words with an intruder and shot the man in the leg. The Troutman Police Department says officers responded to reports of a shooting Wednesday night and when officers arrived at the scene they found someone who’d suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound. While full details weren’t shared at the time, TMZ is now sharing the audio of the 911 call DaBaby placed after shooting the man.
In the audio clip, the suspect can be heard yelling and screaming in the background as DaBaby tries to explain to the operator what just happened. The rapper was getting a bit frustrated as he was asked the same questions twice. However, he remained pretty cooperative until officers arrived at the scene. Cops say the shooting victim was transported to a medical facility for treatment.
As it is noted, North Carolina is a stand your ground state, so DaBaby may not have violated the law by shooting the man. Meanwhile, the rapper seems to be doing pretty ok. Following the shooting, he has continued to post on Instagram, and talk his stuff, like nothing ever happened.

Why Trouble Seems To Follow DaBaby
DaBaby is no stranger to trouble. He made headlines last summer when he shouted out disparaging comments about gay men and HIV during a performance at the Rolling Loud Miami music festival. He said at the time, “If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cellphone lighter up. Fellas, if you ain’t sucking dick in the parking lot, put your cellphone lighter up!” After widespread criticism, the rapper said that his gay fans aren’t “nasty gay n—-as” or “junkies.” The comments were quickly condemned by fans, celebrities and LGBTQ+ groups but DaBaby later apologized several times, and also met with LGBTQ and HIV groups, which seemed to have saved him for being completely canceled.
Since then, DaBaby hasn’t tried his best to stay out of trouble. A few months ago, he got into a public verbal argument with his baby mama Danileigh. Shortly after that, he got into a physical fight at a bowling alley with her brother, Brandon Bills.
At this point it seems like trouble just follows the rapper… #Socialites, let us know your thoughts on this in the comment box below!
