DaBaby Dropped From Governors Ball Festival Lineup Amid Controversy Over His Homophobic Comments At Rolling Loud
Looks like DaBaby has been kicked to the curb once again! Just a day after he was dropped from the Lollapalooza lineup for his homophobic he made comments last week, New York’s Governors Ball canceled his performance at the festival as well.

As Variety points out, in a tweet labeled “Stay tuned for a lineup addition,” the festival’s promoter wrote in a social media message: “Founders Entertainment does not and will not tolerate hate or discrimination of any kind. We welcome and celebrate the diverse communities that make New York City the greatest city in the world. Thank you to the fans who continue to speak up for what is right. Along with you, we will continue to use our platform for good.”

DaBaby also appeared on the flyer the was originally put out by the festival organizers but just like the others, his name has been scrubbed from the lineup.
As we previously reported, while performing at Rolling Loud festival in Miami over the weekend, he asked every audience member to “put your cell phone light up”, apart from those who were HIV-positive or were gay men who had sex in car parks. Following a wave of backlash, the rapper apologized for his comments. He tweeted last night that his comments were “insensitive” adding he had “no intentions on offending anybody” before offering “my apologies”. “Anybody who done ever been [affected] by AIDS/HIV y’all got the right to be upset,” he added.
The rapper has yet to publicly speak out on this latest news about him being dropped from yet another festival. However, he did share this IG Story, appearing to be unbothered.
