Da Baby can’t catch a break! The rapper just got hit with a lawsuit by the man who claimed that he and his entourage beat him up.
TMZ reports that concert promoter Kenneth Carey is suing the rapper, his entertainment company and multiple other guys who were with Da Baby on the day of the alleged beating.
New legal documents show that Kenneth claims that he and DaBaby had an agreement for him to host a party where another artist, Stunna 4 Vegas, had been booked to perform at. He was going to be paid $20,000.
Kenneth claims he got DaBaby and his people transportation and hotels, but one of the vehicles returned damage.
Apparently, Da Baby asked for an extra $10k, and that’s when it escalated into a 5 man beating. They reportedly pulled Kenneth’s pants down, beat him up and poured apple juice all over him.
He is suing for battery, breach of contract, defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress and he would like the damages to be paid up to $6 million.
