The nominations for the 2020 Oscars were announced this Monday morning by “Insecure” star Issa Rae and “Star Trek” actor Jon Cho, and some of our favorites are up to snag an award!

Kicking things off with the “Joker,” the film is the leading nominee for the Academy Awards with 11 nominations including best actor for Joaquin Phoenix and best director for Todd Phillips. Barack and Michelle Obama officially entered the 2020 Oscars mix with the documentary American Factory, which made headlines last summer when it was announced as the couple’s first film presented by the Obamas’ production company, Higher Ground. The Netflix original was nominated for Best Documentary Feature. Mrs. Obama took to Twitter to thank all the people who were involved in the project.

Actress Cynthia Erivo is nominated for two Oscars for playing Harriet Tubman in the Harriet biopic, as well as co-writing the song from the movie, “Stand Up,” making her one step closer to becoming the youngest EGOT winner.

There are more great stars and films nominated for the awards this year. You’ll be able to see who takes home an award as the the 92nd show is set to air live from The Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Feb. 9. It will also be a hostless ceremony for the second consecutive year.
