Cuba Gooding Jr. Alleged Victim Seeking Default Judgement As Actor Stays Silent
The bartender who claims that actor Cuba Gooding sexually harassed her at a bar, is asking the judge to award her a default judgment because Cuba has not responded to her accusations.
Natasha Ashworth said on Oct. 24, 2018, Cuba repeatedly attempted to grab her butt and would not take no for an answer. Following the initial accusations, another 30 women came forward. According to cour documents, Cuba has not responded, nor, has he hired a lawyer to present him.
Ashworth’s lawyer, Peter Scoolidge, served the suit to the actor on Jan. 22, 2020.

However, “neither defendant nor his attorneys have appeared, served an answer or moved with respect to the complaint herein,” thus a default judgement must be awarded.
Gooding has vehemently denied the allegations against him.
“The spurious, uncharged allegations offered by the district attorney’s office are so ancient and outdated and lacking in details and impairs the defendant from defending against them,” his lawyer previously said of the accusations.
