Crystal Smith has taken to social media to announce that she’s done with her marriage to singer Ne-Yo. She also blasted him for allegedly cheating on her with sex workers unprotected, and refers to him as a “narcissist.”

As a refresher, Ne-Yo and Crystal first met during a casting call for his music video for his song “Non-Fiction.”
In August 2015, the singer announced the he and Crystal were engaged. They also shared the big news that they were expecting their first child together.
The couple then tied the knot in February 2016. Ne-Yo told People Magazine, “We can’t wait to start our life together. We’re looking forward to just being each others’ best friend.”
A month into being newlyweds, Crystal gave birth to their first son Shaffer Chimere Smith Jr. in March 2016. Two years later in June 2018, the couple had their second son, Roman Alexander-Raj Smith.
Things then came to a head in February 2020. Ne-Yo announced that he and Crystal had decided to get a divorce. But a month or so later, they called it off. Ne-Yo claimed that the COVID-19 pandemic helped them reconcile their marriage.
He told Tamron Hall, “I did not want to get divorced. I was really, really broken up about it. It didn’t feel right. It didn’t make any sense to me.”
After reconciling, in June 2021, the couple welcomed their third child, a baby girl named Isabella Rose.
While still madly in love, the couple decided to renew their vows and in April 2022, they did just that.
The planned a vow-renewing ceremony at the Resorts World rooftop in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Fast forward from April 2022 to July 2022, and Crystal is now taking to Instagram to announce that she is leaving her husband of almost a decade.
On Saturday evening (Jul. 30) Crystal claimed she’s no longer faking the funk and wants people to stop sending her videos of her husband allegedly cheating. She titled the note, “8 years.”
“8 years of lies and deception. 8 years of unknowingly sharing my life and husband with numerous of women who sell their bodies to him unprotected. every last one of them!
To say I’m heartbroken and disgusted is a understatement. To ask me to stay and accept it is absolutely insane. The mentality of a narcissist. I will no longer lie to the public or pretend that this is something it isn’t. I choose me, I choose my happiness and health and my respect.
I gained 3 beautiful children out of this but nothing else but wasted years and heartache. I ask that you all please stop sending me videos or information of him cheating because what he does is no longer my concern.
I am not a victim. I’m choosing to stand tall with my head held high. If someone can’t love you the way you deserve then it’s up to you to love yourself. With no hate in my heart I wish him nothing but the best. ~ Crystal Renay”
