Cristiano Ronaldo Becomes First-Ever Soccer Player To Reach Billionaire Status

Cristiano Ronaldo is out here breaking records as he just became the first ever soccer player in history to become a billionaire during his career.

According to  Forbes, the star made $105 million (£83m) before tax last year, taking his total networth over the $1 billion (£789m) mark.

The 35-year-old pro baller has been named the fourth-highest earning celebrity in 2020, running shoulders with Roger Federer, Kanye West and Kylie Jenner.

Per Forbes, Ronaldo made £513 million ($650m) posting soccer for 17 years, with the remainder of his wealth coming from endorsement deals, his fashion and lifestyle brand CR7, hotel chain CR7, and a CR7 museum in his hometown of Funchal, Madeira.
