Crew Member From ‘Indiana Jones 5’ Reportedly Dies On Location Of Troubled Production
It looks like there’s more trouble in the movie world as a crew member was reportedly recently found dead on the location of the upcoming Indiana Jones 5 movie.
Walt Disney Studios shared the news on Thursday.
“Our hearts go out to the family and friends of Nic Cupac, an incredibly talented colleague and member of the film community who will be greatly missed,” a rep for the production told The NY Post. “His sudden passing was not production-related. Nic was a grip on 2nd unit.”

The Sun reports that Nic Cupac, 54, was one of 100 crew members working on the sequel, and he was found dead in his hotel in Fes, Morocco, one of the locations that they were filming.
Cupac had traveled to help with a stunt involving a rickshaw.
One friend remembered him as “One of the very best — taught me so much when I was starting out. I’m heartbroken. Nic was such a lovely man.”
He is believed to have died from natural causes.
The upcoming film will be the fifth and final Indiana Jones sequel, which has moved from 2022 released to 2023 after the main actor Harrison Ford suffered a shoulder injury.
