COVID Vaccinations Will Be Required For All Students, Facility And Staff At California State University This Fall

Students, facility and staff that attends California State University will be required to be vaccinated before the fall semester starts.

With the rise in the Delta Variant throughout California, the decision was announced Tuesday. If workers or students are already vaccinated they will have to show proof according to Ktla.com

“The current surge in COVID cases due to the spread of the highly infectious Delta variant is an alarming new factor that we must consider as we look to maintain the health and well-being of students, employees and visitors to our campuses this fall,” stated by, Cal State Chancellor Joseph I. Castro.

“Receiving a COVID vaccine continues to be the best way to mitigate the spread of the virus. We urge all members of the CSU community to get vaccinated as soon as possible, and announcing this requirement now allows members of the CSU community to receive multiple doses of a vaccine as we head into the beginning of the fall term.”

A lot of other schools around the U.S are taking the same precautions as well. Social media users are concerned if there will be another lockdown or not. With the rise of the Delta Variant, it does seem like we could be going in that direction.
