COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments Surge In Quebec As Marijuana & Liquor Stores Now Require Proof Of Vax

Yikes! Looks like the demand for COVID-19 vaccine appointments are on the rise in Quebec, Canada as both marijuana and liquor stores now require proof of vax!

According to a tweet from Quebec Health Minister Christian Dubé, recent requests for the first-dose appointments averaged about 1,500 per day, with the number then spiking to 6,000 on January 6 — making it a 400 percent increase.

Now, a day before Dubé’s tweet on the surge, he announced that Quebec will soon be requiring vaccine passports to enter government-run stores, selling cannabis and alcohol. Dubé said, “If the unvaccinated aren’t happy with this situation, there is a very simple solution at your disposal. It is to get vaccinated. It’s free.” Dubé has argued that limiting the places accessible to unvaccinated, transmission rates will drop. #Socialites, thoughts?
