According to CNN, a California Superior Court judge ordered the President to pay $44,100 to Daniels, real name Stephanie Clifford, to reimburse her attorneys’ fees in the legal battle surrounding her nondisclosure agreement. As the news site notes, the judge’s order was actually issued Monday but it was posted online Friday by Daniels’ attorneys.

As we previously reported, Daniels who says she had an affair with Trump from 2006 to 2007, signed a $130,000 nondisclosure agreement with former Trump attorney Michael Cohen, who represented a shell company and a “David Dennison,” which she contends is a pseudonym for Trump, CNN notes. However, Trump denied the affair ever occurred.

Back in 2018, she sued seeking to be released from the NDA. But in response, Trump and his legal team agreed outside of court not to sue or otherwise enforce the NDA. The suit was ultimately dismissed and the NDA had been rendered unenforceable.

The latest move was a response to her efforts to be reimbursed for costs and attorney’s fees related to the case, the news site notes.
