A Bronx couple was arrested after they were accused of fatally stabbing their roommate for turning up the music to drown out their argument.

The incident took place at a home near East 205 Street in Norwood early Friday when the 29-year-old roommate told the couple, aged 20 and 21, to keep their voices down around 3 a.m. Police said the victim turned up his music to drown out the argument but this caused the couple to become more upset. Moments later, they started stabbing the victim in the chest then neck and he was found unresponsive by officers. He was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.
Currently, it is unknown if the couple contacted the police or someone else did after the stabbing.

The victim’s name was not immediately released due to pending family identification. NYPD officials said the couple was taken into custody with charges pending.
