Couple Arrested In California For Vandalizing Car & Yelling ‘White Lives Matter’
Torrance, California police arrested a couple on Friday for vandalizing a car and yelling “white lives matter,” along with performing a Nazi salute in a hate crime attack on a Black and Mexican couple.
The suspects, Gregory Howell and wife Rachel Howell, were involved in a road rage incident that quickly escalated. The viral incident was recorded on camera showing the duo outside of a white pickup track near Artesia Boulevard and Prairie Avenue, as they repeatedly shouted at the interracial couple, “only white lives matter.” During the attack, the man was seen throwing a Nazi salute and saying, “white power.”
Towards the end of their performance, the couple return to their vehicle, with the man grabbing a shovel, and proceeding to strike the victims’ car, damaging the driver’s side mirror. One of the victims has since filed a police report, and the white couple is currently in police custody for vandalism and hate crimes.
