Couple Arrested For Running Teen Trump Supporters Off Of Road

An Indiana couple was arrested this weekend in connection with an incident in July where they used a car to force two brothers riding bikes with President Trump flags off a road.

According to Fox 32, Hobart Police arrested Kyren Gregory Perry-Jones,23, and his girlfriend 18-year-old Cailyn Marie Smith after finding a series of Snapchat videos in connection with the July 22 incident. A probable cause affidavit states the couple allegedly was driving in their car, running the 14-year-old twin brothers off the road while threatening them. During the incident, Perry-Jones asked one of the boys if they were Trump supporters to which they replied “Yes.”

The couple then forced the teens off the road and followed them before tearing off President Donald Trump flags off their bikes. Afterward, the driver ran over the flags with their vehicles.

“The driver turns the wheel sharply as if he saw the boys and wanted to hit them with the vehicle while yelling `ya’ll better get home. A male’s voice is then heard telling the female passenger “pull that flag down”

One of the videos, a female voice can be heard in the video saying ‘ya’ll scare just like your president. America is not great.”‘ The couple has been charged with two felony counts of intimidation and criminal recklessness. They were also charged with one count of theft and criminal mischief.
