Britney Spears may have impressed some of her fans with her new dance routine where she incorporated knives, but it has other folks concerned… including the cops!
As we previously covered, Spears shared the clip on Monday with her Instagram followers and explained in her caption that she “started playing in the kitchen with knives.” She can be seen rubbing the blades together while hitting some sharp dance moves. A couple of fans noticed that she may have been a little too serious with the knifes as she appeared to have a cut on her thigh.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that they received a call Wednesday expressing concern for Britney after her video went super viral. Although she seemed ok and looked like she was just having fun, out of an abundance of caution, deputies from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department went out to Britney’s house.
When they arrived, they actually spoke to the pop icon who assured she was ok. However, they left her home as she did not want to continue to speak with them .
Meanwhile, her lawyer isn’t here for their little visit either. He reportedly called the cops later that day to ask about the visit, and deputies assured him they only made the visit because the call was made by someone who knew Britney.
Of course this is isn’t the first time Soears got a knock on her door by cops. As we previously reported, earlier this year, cops performed a welfare check at Britney’s home after fans became concerned for her safety when her Instagram account disappeared.
Although Britney was fine and later reactivated her account she expressed at the time that she was still annoyed about her unwanted visitors.
“As evervone knows the police were called to my home based on some prank phone calls. love and adore my fans but this time things went a little too far and my privacy was invaded. The police never entered my home and when they came to my gate they quickly realized there was
no issue and left immediately. This felt like I was being gaslit and bullied once the incident made it to the news and being portrayed once again in a poor and unfair light by the media. During this time in my life, I truly hope the public and my fans who I care so much about can respect my privacy moving forward. All the love, B.”
We’re just glad Britney is completely fine and keep herself busy amid her divorce to husband Sam Asghari.
