Cop Involved In Breonna Taylor’s Death Sued For Sexual Assault

One of the officers involved in the death of Breonna Taylor is being sued for sexual assault and the victim said his bosses were well aware of the case.

According to TMZ, Brett Hankison is being sued by Margo Borders after she filed a lawsuit claiming he sexually assaulted her in 2018. Court documents state Hankison carried out the act after the pair went out to a bar where he worked as a security guard and he sat onto a couch while she changed her clothes in her bedroom.  Borders said she passed out while laying on her bed and Hankinson took off his clothes then sexually assaulted her while she was unconscious. She also stated that 10 women had a similar story regarding Hankison’s sexual misconduct. 

The lawsuit is also suing his colleagues and supervisors since they were well aware of the case but never took any initiative to arrest Hankinson.

The outlet said Bordes never filed a police report but she said the other victims filed reports that were never fulfilled by the police department, Hankinson was the only officer in the Breonna Taylor case who was sued for Wanton endangerment and was fired for from the Louisville Metro Police Department.
