Convicted Sex Offender Charged After ‘Spending Hours Watching Child Porn On AT&T Store iPad’

Nathan Wood, a 38-year-old convicted sex offender in Boulder County, Colorado, has been charged after “spending hours watching child porn on an AT&T Store iPad.”

On April 18, Wood was arrested after searching for and watching child pornography on an iPad in an AT&T store for four hours, up until shocked workers realized and called the police. It’s stated that Wood, who is fluent in German, told police he got confused with some German terms, which led him to the explicit content. He claims he was looking for a video of a woman that someone recommended to him, and may have mixed up his German.

On Tuesday (Dec. 29), he plead not guilty to the charges of sexual exploitation of a child and attempted sexual exploitation of a child. He is currently in custody, with his trial beginning on May 24. Previously, in 2013, Wood was convicted for sexual assault and second-degree theft. Recently, he’d been released from prison after serving six years and had been on parole up until his latest arrest.
