On March 2, a report from The Blast, revealed Susan Billiotte, the sister of the 69-year-old whose real name is Ronald Jeremy Hyatt, requested a professional fiduciary file a petition for conservatorship. Details of the petition state that Billiotte has nominated a California Trusts and Wills lawyer to preside over the conservatorship. It appears one of the main goals of the conservatorship is “to be established so that Petitioner can have authority to place proposed conservatee in a privately-secured perimeter facility specializing in treatment of dementia.”

The petition to file conservatorship arrives on the heels of a Los Angeles judge’s ruling last month that Jeremy is incompetent to stand trial in connection to charges brought against him in 2020 for allegedly sexually assaulting 21 women. According to Reuters, Jeremy was committed to a state mental health hospital in February and can be held there for up to two years. A hearing on Jeremy’s progress is scheduled for May 8.

The character and the estimated value of the property of Jeremy’s estate is reportedly $635,000 while the real estimated worth of his property is valued at $2.8 million. Jeremy’s doctor reportedly filed in support of the conservatorship based on a capacity declaration the physician issued. Based on his physician’s findings, Jeremy “does not have issues related to mood. [His current] deficits are neurocognitive rather than psychiatric.” The petition also alleges that Jeremy has been diagnosed with “symptoms of Lewy body dementia.”

Based on the petition obtained by The Blast, “Susan Billotte, sister of Ronald Jeremy Hyatt, hereby nominates Ellen S. Finkelberg to act as Temporary and Permanent Conservator of the Person and Estate of Ronald Jeremy Hyatt.” The petition continues, “Proposed conservatee is a 69-year-old man who is concurrently incarcerated at the Twins Towers-Mens Central Jail. He has been found incompetent to stand trial in a criminal case due to a diagnosis with symptoms of Lewy body dementia and has a pending transfer to a state hospital. He is unable to express a preference of the proposed conservatee concerning the appointment of any temporary conservator proposed in this petition.”

Jeremy has been incarcerated in prison since his arrest in 2020. In August 2021, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office announced Jeremy had been indicted on 30 sexual assault charges. The charges stem from alleged cases involving at least 21 women, ages ranging from 15 to 51, over a 23-year span. Jeremy initially plead not guilty to a list of charges that include, 12 counts of forcible rape, seven counts of forcible oral copulation, six counts of sexual battery by restraint, four counts of sexual penetration by a foreign object, two counts of sexual penetration of an unconscious or asleep person, and one count each of lewd act upon a child under the age of 14 or 15, sodomy by use of force and assault with intent to commit rape.

Jeremy rose to fame in the 1970s as an adult film star and became one of the biggest names in the pornographic film industry — appearing in more than 2,000 movies.
