Socialites, cue the confetti! Venus Williams and Andrea Preti officially tied the knot over the weekend in Florida, and yes, it was just as elegant as you’d expect from literal royalty.
Vogue shared stunning photos from the celebration, where Williams revealed the couple had already exchanged vows privately in Italy back in September. The Florida affair, though, was the full-scale version. Think five days, friends, family, and greatt vibes.
“We had this dream to do our wedding in Italy,” Williams explained. “But we didn’t have enough time to do the paperwork —because I’m a foreigner, it can take about eight months. So we decided to have a second wedding.”
Because when you’re Venus Williams, you don’t cancel the dream. You simply add another wedding.

The weeklong celebration kicked off at the couple’s home with a bridal party on Tuesday, December 16, which Williams says turned into a full-on Beyoncé dance party. Casual. Her sister, Serena Williams, was also photographed alongside other family members and close friends, looking every bit like the proud big sister.
“They always say weddings go so fast, and they do. We started on Monday. Serena gave us this gift of a beautiful yacht, and she arranged all the food, everything. We had 10 to 12 of our closest family and friends who were in town on the boat, and we were singing, dancing, gossiping, and just enjoying each other,” she told Vogue.
Tuesday brought a bridal shower on the couple’s back patio, followed by a romantic Miami dinner on Wednesday with their inner circle. Thursday was dedicated to sports day. Obviously. You don’t marry into the Williams family without breaking a sweat.
The five-day celebration wrapped up Friday with a courthouse wedding in Palm Beach, officially sealing the deal.
Williams looked absolutely stunning in her wedding dress, while Preti looked equally sharp, perfectly fitted for his bride.
More On Their Relationship
The newlyweds were first linked in July 2024 after being spotted boating together in Nerano, Italy. Williams later confirmed their relationship following a singles match win against Peyton Stearns at Washington D.C.’s Mubadala Citi DC Open in 2025.
Reflecting on the experience, Williams summed it up perfectly: “I can’t describe how beautiful, calm, sacred, exciting, and exalting it was,” she said. “It was just a dream.”
And honestly, if you’re going to do love, this is how you do it.
