As we previously reported, back in March, Gary Owen’s wife Kenya Duke filed for divorce from the comedian after nearly two decades together.

According to TMZ, Kenya Duke just filed legal docs asking for spousal support from Gary and she’s looking for a nice chunk of change as she claims he’s rolling in the dough! In the docs obtained by the news site, Kenya wants $44,000 a month in spousal support. She doesn’t think that’s a hefty amount since she claims it’s the same amount Gary would normally deposit in her account to pay credit cards and finance her personal spending.

She goes on to note that Gary left her with no choice but to request spousal support as she claims she left her career to support Gary and his dreams. Kenya says their monthly income has been between $200,000 and $400,000 and never dipped below $100k, even during the pandemic, TMZ notes.

Gary and Kenya married back in 2003 and they share two sons and a daughter. As of right now, the reason behind their split is still pretty unclear.
