The woman wanted to avenge the tragic death of her husband after he was assassinated at the hands of a local crime boss in Cordoba. According to Oddity Central, Ruben Dario Viloria Barrios, aka ‘Juancho’, was a religious man who preached about God and orchestrated narcotic shipments to Central America and the United States. Although he was known to keep a low profile in the town of Cienaga de Oro, the woman managed to infiltrate his social circles and get close to him.
After seducing Barrios, the unknown woman managed to get the crime boss to fall in love with her, and he started to confide in her about his criminal dealings. She managed to give these details to local authorities. Officials have listed Barrios as a suspect since 2020, but they didn’t have enough evidence against him.

After police gathered up the information against Barrios, the woman managed to set him up to be arrested after informing police that he would be attending a meeting with other criminals in Monteria. During the meeting, the Special Operations Group of the National Police barged in and arrested the group last month. Colonel Garbiel Garcia said Barrios “coordinated the shipment of narcotics to Central America and from there to the United States, through ‘Go Fast’ type speedboats, with a capacity of monthly shipment of approximately 1.5 tons of cocaine.” He added that the numerous homicides under his command could be linked to other criminal operations.
Barrios was sentenced to 22 years in prison, and Interpol issued a red warning due to his various crimes in Colombia.
“‘Juancho’, authorities say, ordered people to kill left and right, and ordered kidnappings and extortion. According to the Police, he was in charge of ordering the murder of Alexander de Jesús Hernández (above) and Rafer Stith Baldovino (below), commander and deputy commander of the Puerto Valdivia (Antioquia) police station in July 2018.The uniformed men were ambushed in the truck and there they received rifle bursts at a time when they were avoiding looting in that sector, evacuated by the Hidroituango project. Viloria was also responsible for a triple homicide that occurred in San Carlos on January 28, as well as the homicides of a man in San Bernardo del Viento, in front of his family, and a double homicide in Chinú, all municipalities of Córdoba.”
Officers also thanked the woman for helping them with their investigation and said she would remain anonymous due to the serious nature of the case.
