In 2012, Deion Sanders and Tracey Edmonds first met at a movie premiere party. A few months later, the two-time Super Bowl champion reached out to do some business together. Edmonds ended up producing his reality show, ‘Deion’s Family Playbook.’ The two soon deepened their connection and by 2019, they were engaged.
However, by 2023, they had called it quits. In December 2023, the former NFL player and TV and film producer shared an amicable split after sharing 11 years together. The former couple shared the news in a joint statement on Instagram. They revealed that they both came to the decision that they were better off as friends.
Accompanying the statement in their caption, they shared a photo of themselves on a red carpet. The letter read:
“To EVERYONE who has been there for us, supported us, and shown us love… We have mutually decided that it is best for us to move forward in life AS FRIENDS and have made this decision with love in our hearts, respect for each other, and appreciation for the time we’ve shared together.
Please keep us in your prayers as we go through this transition. Thank you for being there for us ALL THESE YEARS! We love you and appreciate you SO MUCH!”
Edmonds’ ex-fiancé went on to respond to the announcement in the comment section of the post. He said:
“Love u Tracey and You’ve been a true blessing to me. I appreciate the times we’ve shared and they laughs we’ve had. You are an amazing woman and a tremendous mother. God bless u with every endeavor and every step u take. You are HER. Tracey-Mack!!!”
Deion Sanders And Karrueche Tran Spark Dating Rumors After She’s Seen Crying At His Side During Bladder Cancer Removal
Over a year and some change after Deion Sanders, 57, and Tracey Edmonds, 58, split, he is now sparking dating rumors with Emmy Award-winning actress Karrueche Tran, 37. As Sanders underwent surgery to remove his bladder invaded by cancer, Tran appeared on video crying and supporting Coach Prime in the hospital.
Following the viral footage, former NFL player Asante Samuel had Sanders on the July 31 episode of his podcast, ‘Say What Needs To Be Said.’ Samuel asked Sanders, “Everyone’s seen Karrueche by your side during your hospital visits. Everyone wants to know what that friendship is about.” Sanders dodged the question and pretended that the connection was faulty. Before exiting the video call, Sanders said, “Hey, hey! We got a bad connection. I can’t hear you!”

Claudia Jordan Alleges Karrueche Tran Denied Dating Deion Sanders When Asked By His Ex-Fiancée Tracey Edmonds
Meanwhile, on the July 30 episode of the ‘Accidentally Informed‘ podcast, Carlos King, Claudia Jordan, and Erica Cobb discussed the trending topic involving Karrueche Tran and Deion Sanders, and threw Tracey Edmonds into the mix.
According to Claudia Jordan, she said her “good friend” Tracey Edmonds told her that she once asked Karrueche Tran at a party about rumors of her dating her ex-fiancé Deion Sanders. Per Jordan, Tran allegedly laughed off the rumors and said “no” to dating Coach Prime.
Jordan also believed that Edmonds and Tran were “cool,” possibly even “friends,” noting Edmonds even “put [Tran] in projects” that she produced. Which tracks as Tran starred in BET’s ‘Games People Play,’ a show that Edmonds executive produced. Jordan went on to show a picture of Edmonds and Tran hugging each other. The photo was shared to Edmonds’ Instagram page from when the series was filming its second season. Cobb, Jordan, and King went on to discuss possibilities of betrayal or not.
