City Girls Member JT Rejoices After Federal Custody Release

It looks like City Girls member JT has twerk, twerk, twerked that booty out of the halfway house and into freedom, as she was finally released from federal custody on Friday (Mar. 6)

Federal Bureau of Prisons tells TMZ, that the rapper was released this past weekend after serving the last part of her 2-year-sentence in a halfway house. She’d been in custody since June 2018 after turning herself in for identity theft.

Hours after her release, the 27-year-old immediately took to Twitter expressing her happiness and gratitude for being able to finally enjoy some of the simple things in life; like waking up in your own bed. She tweeted, “Woke up in my own bed for the first time in 2 years! Happppppyyyyy.”

While JT’s no longer in federal custody, she is, however, still being ordered to finish out probation for a year; with the terms of her supervised released reportedly requiring her to take a drug test within the 15 days, steer clear of controlled substances and firearms, and perform at least 200 hours of community service.

Furthermore, following her prison release in October 2019, she immediately went to the studio to left off some heat, which spawned her track “JT First Day Out.” Check it out below!
