The court is looking to hear the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization case on a Mississippi abortion restriction, which blocks the procedure following 15 weeks of pregnancy.

“No matter where you live, no matter where you are, this fight is at your doorstep,” Planned Parenthood CEO Alexis McGill Johnson, shared at the D.C. march.

Protesters were making a stand today and being very vocal about their stance! Many were seen carrying signs and wearing outfits that honor the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

“We just think that we can’t expect change or people to not feel like it’s OK to infringe on our rights if we don’t show and show them that it’s not okay,” Dawn Corporan stated, who traveled to Washington, DC from Suffolk, Va.

“We’ve got to support, man,” shared by Susan Baxter, who drove from Silicon Valley and is a represented doctor. “That’s one of the reasons why the company was started, so that women have a choice.”

Many news outlets and social media users slammed Texas Gov, Greg Abbott who recently signed legislation to make abortions illegal after six weeks of conception, which is also a time before most people even know they are with child.

“Gov. Greg Abbott and Republicans in the legislature put their own political ambitions ahead of the people of this state and Greg Abbott traded away the health and wellbeing of our state for crass partisan politics,” Richards expressed to the crowd.
