Christina Ashten Gourkani, who was famously known for her striking resemblance to Kim Kardashian, has died. Her family confirmed that following a recent cosmetic procedure earlier this month, the 34-year-old went into cardiac arrest at the hospital while recovering from the surgery. The news was shared by a relative who has since opened up a GoFundMe page, which read, “It is with deep sorrow and an immensely heavy, broken heart that we have to share the most shattering, unfortunate, and unexpected passing of our beautiful, beloved daughter and sister Christina Ashten Gourkani.”

The description of the post went on to reveal that family members had been contacted on April 20 to inform them that there had been some sort of complications after the surgery and that Gourkani’s health was deteriorating. Interestingly enough, however, her death is currently said to be investigated as a “homicide,” indicating that the surgeon is being held accountable for her death. “For the privacy of Christina Ashten, our family and the investigation no other details will be shared at this time.”
Aside from having amassed a large following on social media thanks to looks, Gourkani was also popular on the subscription-based platform OnlyFans, with a fellow model from the site, Mary Madgalene, stunned by her passing after undergoing plastic surgery. “I would randomly see her on Instagram and I think she was really pretty but that is so sad she just died from plastic surgery,” she said. “It is so scary because you really just never know if you’re gonna die from it omg.”
Gourkani is described as a “caring” and “loving free spirit” on the GoFundMe page, who loved making people smile.
The post continued, “She was the kind of person that would kneel down and talk to children at eye level, she searched for the lonely person in the corner and made them feel special as she has such a gift of connecting with people.
“On many occasions I’ve seen her turn her adversaries into life long friends just after 10 seconds of pouring her charismatic joy, positive energy and her beautiful smile that she gave to those around her.”
Out of all the social media stars who have tried to replicate Kardashian’s look, it goes without saying that Gourkani was arguably one of the few who could have easily passed as the reality star’s twin, with the exception that she had larger breasts, of course.
No word on where Gourkani had her procedure done, but going off by what the relative said, it is clear that the family is holding the hospital and surgeon responsible for her demise.
