Christina Aguilera Seemingly Claps Back At Pink For Bringing Up Their Past Feud Over Lady Marmalade: ‘Let’s Grow Up… I Just Don’t Have Time For The Petty BS’

Christina Aguilera was clearly not happy about Pink bringing up their former feud over their 2001 song “Lady Marmalade.” As we all know by now, the two pop stars didn’t get along while filming the music video to the Grammy award-winning hit after Aguilera allegedly complained about Pink sitting in her seat and getting to sing the first part of the track. The two were said to have butted heads throughout the shoot and went on to seemingly shade each other for years to come. In 2017, however, Pink said she and Aguilera had hashed things out after supporting her by appearing as a guest coach on X-Tina’s team on “The Voice,” adding that they were moms and it was time to “hug it out.”

But in the midst of promoting her new album, “Trustfall,” in February, Pink went into detail about why she started having issues with Aguilera. It should be noted that Pink was asked to speak on the situation after being shown a photo of her Lady Marmalade days; she didn’t bring it up out of nowhere, but many people thought Pink could’ve just skipped past it as opposed to shedding light on the drama from over 20 years ago. And it seems Aguilera was not cool with Pink speaking about her recollection of things either.

While taping an episode for Spotify‘s “Call Her Daddy,” the “Dirrty” singer had some things to share for those who have continuously try to “poke” and “bait” her into negativity time and time again — and she says she won’t fall for it. “I want peaceful energy, peaceful vibes,” she explained. I don’t need to be talking about things that happened decades ago. Let’s grow up, let’s embrace. I just don’t have time for the petty bulls**t.”

For those who missed it, Pink had previously given an interview to BuzzFeed UK where her past feud with Aguilera was brought up after she was shown a photo of her with the women she recorded “Lady Marmalade” with. She said, “I’m all about fun, and it was a lot of fuss,” before recalling that Lil Kim and Mya were very nice to her.

“I guess it is iconic, but I remember I kept crying because my skin didn’t like the makeup. It was just…there was some annoying things happening that day.”

The feud between Christina Aguilera and Pink is said to have escalated when Christina Aguilera reportedly wanted to take the lead vocals and was unhappy when Pink was given the first verse. According to reports, Christina Aguilera felt that she was a better singer than Pink and deserved to have the lead vocals. This caused tension between the two singers, and they started to argue on set.

Despite the tensions, the four artists managed to come together and create an incredible cover of Lady Marmalade. The song was a huge hit, and the music video was even more successful. However, the rivalry between Christina Aguilera and Pink continued to simmer under the surface and would soon come to a head.

The Lady Marmalade music video shoot was a chaotic affair, with four of the biggest female pop stars of the time coming together to create something special. However, tensions were high on set, and Christina Aguilera and Pink’s rivalry was evident for all to see. According to reports, Christina Aguilera was unhappy with the direction of the music video and felt that Pink was trying to upstage her. Pink, on the other hand, felt that Christina Aguilera was being difficult and not working well with the other artists.

The tension between Christina Aguilera and Pink boiled over during a heated argument on the set. According to reports, Pink accused Christina Aguilera of being a diva and trying to take over the music video. Christina Aguilera, in turn, accused Pink of not taking the music video seriously and not putting in enough effort. The argument was so heated that the other artists had to step in and separate the two singers.
