New mom Chrisean Rock has a message to critics who continue to slam her parenting skills instead of offering helpful advice.

If you hopped on social media in the last couple of days then you probably came across the viral clip of Chrisean Rock in Walmart. It shows her with her newborn son and dog casually shopping around. However, fans noticed that her baby was not sleeping correctly in the baby carrier. One person tweeted, “I just seen that video of Chrisean Rock in the Walmart again, SOMEBODY GO GET THAT BABY FROM HER!!” Another said, “I need someone to tell Chrisean the baby shouldn’t be out in the public as of yet I’m sure he still hasn’t had his first set of shots. Especially not at a Walmart !!!! #ChriseanRock #Chrisean #chriseanRockJr”

A third person added, “This baby is 2 weeks old and been to the studio, church, Walmart, music videos, gas station link-ups, have not seen that baby in a stroller yet. Ya so quick to call child services ( on Men but go blind to sht like this. I’m not saying she’s a bad mother but she needs better guidance. Her baby daddy Blueface even reacted to the moment as it trended on Twitter (X). He claimed was just as surprised as everyone else.

Well, Rock now has a few things to say about all the online commotion and she’s ultimately disappointed that no one stepped in to help but instead record her.

She said this Friday on her Instagram Story, “Instead of that last recording me she could’ve just helped me. I got a dog, two carts full of shit I need for my house. I’m calling my baby daddy… is he helping? No. So I don’t know why he’s chiming in. This mommy shit is cool but your mind is racing 30-6-8 hours a day. And then transitioning to being everything in my situation…everything is just overwhelming.”

Chrisean went on to admit, “I’m still learning. I love my baby. He’s a good baby. Ima tighten up. Straight up.”

How Long Does it Take for a First-Time Mom to Adjust?

Becoming a mother is an extraordinary and transformative experience. For first-time moms, it can be both exciting and overwhelming to embark on the journey of parenthood. Adjusting to the new role, responsibilities, and the myriad of emotions that come with caring for a child is a unique process for each individual. While there is no one-size-fits-all answer, there are some factors that can influence how long it takes for a first-time mom to adjust to parenting.

The emotional adjustment to motherhood varies from person to person. Some mothers may experience an instant connection and a surge of maternal instincts, while others may take a bit longer to bond with their babies. It’s crucial to remember that there is no right or wrong timeline for this process. It’s perfectly normal to have mixed emotions, including joy, anxiety, and even moments of self-doubt. Over time, as you get to know your baby and establish routines, these emotions tend to stabilize.

Parenting involves a steep learning curve. From understanding your baby’s cues, feeding patterns, sleep routines, and diaper changes to mastering the art of soothing and comforting, it takes time to become confident in your abilities. Rest assured, with each passing day, you’ll gain valuable experience, and your instincts will sharpen.

As for physical recovery, the postpartum period can be a challenging time for mothers as they heal and regain their strength. Sleep deprivation, hormonal changes, and physical discomfort can make it more difficult to adjust to the new role. Prioritizing self-care, seeking support from loved ones, and accepting help can significantly aid in the recovery process, allowing you to focus on bonding with your baby.

Furthermore giving yourself grace during the journey is also just as important. We’re sure with Chrisean’s determination to be the best mom she can be, she’ll make progress in no time.

  1. The article above regarding new mothers is wonderful! I would have loved for someone to share all those little pearls of wisdom with me when I became a mother. For this reason, I am going to share this with my child as she now has two little ones of her own — born 11 months apart!

    Thanks so much for this,
    M.S.

  2. When did we stop just reaching in to help young momma’s with a little bit of love and a smile? I’m a grandma and I’m guessing she never even used a baby carrier before. I’m proud that she chooses to keep her baby close to her and not in a stroller! She may have had security and felt unapproachable but that’s not an excuse not to step up and say “hey lil mama can I help you fix your carrier so it fits better for you and little man? His little head is leaning too far back for this carrier with his little self. Then I would tell her about a sling and give her my number” now she might tell me to F off, but maybe she would have been thankful for someone who was genuine? Idk but it would be worth more than the video. She is worth it and so is her baby.
