Chris Rock Says That He Has Not Spoken With Will Smith Following Oscars Altercation During Second Comedy Show
As we previously reported, Will Smith issued a public written apology to Chris Rock on Instagram after their physical altercation at the Oscars, it appears that he has not apologized in person yet and the two have not spoken since the incident.
During the second show of his Ego Death World Tour at Boston’s Wilbur theater Wednesday night Rock said, “I haven’t talked to anyone despite what you may have heard.” If you remember Diddy claimed that he can confirm the two have settled the feud.
At the opening show, after he was welcomed by the sold-out crowd with a three-minute standing ovation, Rock asked the audience “How was your weekend?,” noting that he is “still kinda processing what happened” and that “at some point” he will talk about “that sh*t,” and “it will be serious, and it will be funny.” He then said that he was “going to tell some jokes” before transitioning to his set while an audience member yelled “F*ck Will Smith.”
Rock is set to be in Boston until Friday and fans are curious if he’ll ever fully address the public altercation.
