Chris Cuomo’s Upcoming Book Pulled by HarperCollins

The Cuomo’s can’t catch a break and now Chris Cuomo’s upcoming book has been pulled by publisher HarperCollins.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that the former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo had a book titled Deep Denial, scheduled for a fall 2022 release through William Morrow imprint Custom House, but, now it has been pulled in light of recent allegations about how he allegedly used his news sources to help his brother Andrew Cuomo who was being accused of sexual harassment.

“Custom House does not intend to publish the Chris Cuomo book,” a William Morrow rep said.

As we reported, Chris Cuomo was fired from his job at CNN after the network discovered more evidence on how he helped brother Andrew with the sexual harassment scandal.

The announcement was made on CNN’s official Twitter page where they hired an independent law firm to investigate further into Chris’ involvement with his brother’s scandal. After learning more evidence, they made the decision to permanently remove him from the network.

“Chris Cuomo was suspended earlier this week pending further evaluation of new information that has came to light about his involvement with his brother’s defense. We retained a respected law firm to conduct the review, and have terminated him, effective immediately. While in the process of that review, additional information has come to light. Despite the termination, we will investigate as appropriate.”
