Chris Cuomo Tells Radio Listeners That CNN Suspension ‘Hurts’ And Its ‘Embarrassing’

Following his indefinite suspension, Chris Cuomo was speaking on his satellite radio show Wednesday, where he expressed to his listeners “it hurts” to have been sidelined from his job as a CNN host.

Cuomo spoke out for the first time since his suspension took place but gave no apology about how he requested to use his cable news resources to try to prevent the sexual harassment scandal that forced his brother to quit as governor.

He started off his weekday talk show on Sirius XM by saying “a quick note about the obvious — I’ve been suspended from CNN.”

He added, “You know this already. It hurts to even say it. It’s embarrassing, but I understand it. And I understand why some people feel the way they do about what I did.”

“I know they have a process that they think is important. I respect that process,” he said Wednesday.

“So I’m not going to talk about this any more than that.”

As we previously reported there was text messages released showing Chris Cuomo using multiple sources to expose Andrew Cuomo’s accusers. The evidence showed that Chris reached out to several sources in the industry for information regarding the scandal although he claimed he only offered advice and listened to his older brother.
