A former co-worker of Chris Cuomo has accused him of sexual misconduct in the workplace prior to his termination from CNN.

The accuser’s employment lawyer Debra Katz contacted CNN on Wednesday to inform them about the allegation. According to the New York Post, the 51-year-old woman who accused Chris Cuomo of sexual misconduct was a “junior colleague” at another news network and it is currently unclear if it was a contributing factor to Cuomo’s firing from CNN.

Katz also represented Andrew Cuomo’s accuser Charlotte Bennett and she noted that her client came forward after she was “disgusted by Chris Cuomo’s on-air statements in response to the allegations made against his brother, Governor Andrew Cuomo.”

Cuomo didn’t mention the accusation in his statement after he was fired by the network but this is not the first time he was accused of sexual misconduct. Back in September, Shelley Ross, a colleague of Cuomo’s from ABC News accused him of touching her inappropriately at a party.

“This is not how I want my time at CNN to end but I have already told you why and how I helped my brother,” Chris Cuomo said. “So let me now say as disappointing as this is, I could not be more proud of the team at ‘Cuomo Prime Time’ and the work we did as CNN’s #1 show in the most competitive time slot.”
