Chinese Flight Attendants Instructed To Wear Diapers During Flights

Whew, because going to work wasn’t hard enough!

Flight attendants in China are being instructed to wear diapers to prevent COVID-19 infections by avoiding overuse of plane restrooms.

According to CNN the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) released new guidelines for the pandemic. While PPE is a must during these unprecedented times, the diaper suggestion rubbed a few people the wrong way. Can you imagine being in a plane with all these soiled diapers.

The new guidelines suggested that staff wear “medical masks, double-layer disposable medical gloves, goggles, disposable hats, disposable protective clothing, and disposable shoe covers.”

“It is recommended that cabin crew members wear disposable diapers and avoid using the lavatories barring special circumstances to avoid infection risks.”
The new guidelines come after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention revealed in a study that the coronavirus can spread on airplanes, even among asymptomatic passengers despite high-level cleaning, with multiple cases being linked back to bathroom use.
