As President Donald Trump returns threats to Iran, China, Russia, and North Korea condemns the air strikes launched by the U.S. and Israel, killing Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

In the early hours of Saturday (February 28), the United States and Israel carried out operation “Epic Fury” — which followed weeks of tension and repeated warnings from President Trump over Iran’s nuclear program. Taking to Truth Social at 2:30 a.m. EST, Trump said the U.S. was “undertaking a massive and ongoing operation to prevent this very wicked, radical dictatorship from threatening America and our core national security interests.”
After the attack, Israeli officials confirmed the death of Iran’s Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, 86. He ruled for 35 years — making him one of the longest-serving authoritarian leaders in the world. Trump later vowed to continue aggressive attacks until there is peace in the Middle East, and rest of the world. Taking to Truth Social, he wrote:
“Khamenei, one of the most evil people in History, is dead. This is not only Justice for the people of Iran, but for all Great Americans, and those people from many Countries throughout the World, that have been killed or mutilated by Khamenei and his gang of bloodthirsty THUGS. He was unable to avoid our Intelligence and Highly Sophisticated Tracking Systems and, working closely with Israel, there was not a thing he, or the other leaders that have been killed along with him, could do. This is the single greatest chance for the Iranian people to take back their Country. We are hearing that many of their IRGC, Military, and other Security and Police Forces, no longer want to fight, and are looking for Immunity from us. As I said last night, “Now they can have Immunity, later they only get Death!” Hopefully, the IRGC and Police will peacefully merge with the Iranian Patriots, and work together as a unit to bring back the Country to the Greatness it deserves. That process should soon be starting in that, not only the death of Khamenei but the Country has been, in only one day, very much destroyed and, even, obliterated. The heavy and pinpoint bombing, however, will continue, uninterrupted throughout the week or, as long as necessary to achieve our objective of PEACE THROUGHOUT THE MIDDLE EAST AND, INDEED, THE WORLD! Thank you for your attention to this matter. PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP.”
Donald Trump Returns Threats To Iran Afer U.S. And Israel Launch Air Strikes, Killing Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei; Russia, China, North Korea Condemn Attacks & Khamenei Killing
In the early hours of Sunday (March 1), President Donald Trump the claimed Iran issued threats. However, he told them it would be best advised to not act upon those threats. Taking to Truth Social at 12:25 a.m. EST, he said:
“Iran just stated that they are going to hit very hard today, harder than they have ever hit before. THEY BETTER NOT DO THAT, HOWEVER, BECAUSE IF THEY DO, WE WILL HIT THEM WITH A FORCE THAT HAS NEVER BEEN SEEN BEFORE! Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J.”
Hours later, around 12:20 p.m. EST, he added:
“I have just been informed that we have destroyed and sunk 9 Iranian Naval Ships, some of them relatively large and important. We are going after the rest — They will soon be floating at the bottom of the sea, also! In a different attack, we largely destroyed their Naval Headquarters. Other than that, their Navy is doing very well! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP.”
As Trump returned threats to Iran, Russia’s Vladimir Putin called Khamenei’s murder “a cynical violation of all norms of human morality and international law.” North Korea’s Kim Jong-Un called the attack an “illegal act of aggression;” adding that the two allies’ military actions were “shameless and gangster-like conduct.” North Korea also said U.S. & Israel “abused military force to fulfill their selfish and hegemonic ambitions.”
Meanwhile, China’s Xi Jinping “strongly condemned” the attacks, calling them a “serious violation of Iran’s sovereignty and security, a trampling on the aims and principles of the UN Charter and the basic norms of international relations.” China continued to call for an “immediate halting of military operations.”
Elsewhere, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had this to say on its Iranian attack:
“We have eliminated the tyrant Khamenei and dozens of senior figures of the oppressive regime. Our forces are now striking at the heart of Tehran with increasing intensity, set to escalate further in the coming days.”
