China Reopens Over 4000 Venues, No New Coronavirus Cases Reported
As Australia closes all of its cinemas due to the coronavirus, tourist attractions and other venues in China are reopening as the country reports no new local cases.
After mainland China, the epicenter of the virus, faced the brunt of the outbreak, a countrywide lockdown began in January. Two months later, local entertainment venues and attractions are beginning to open back up.

Currently, over 3,700 “A-level” designated scenic tourists attractions are now open, which represent 30% of the total closed. In addition, almost all retail stores have reopened as 507 theaters, which represents about 5% of its 70,000, have begun showing films once again.
Additionally, while we previously reported that Apple shuttered all of its stores in China, they’ve since reopened all 42 in the mainland, however those outside of Greater China will remain closed until March 27, or until further notice.

Furthermore, as the shutdown impacts in-store purchases and repairs, for those who bought products just prior to the store closure, the company’s 14-day policy will begin after the stores reopen.
