Chadwick Boseman’s Wife Files Probate Case As Actor Died Without A Will
Chadwick Boseman’s wife, Taylor Simone Ledward, filed probate documents asking a judge to make her an administrator to the late actor’s estate. ET reports that it was filed on Thursday in Los Angeles.
The documents note that Boseman “died intestate,” which means he did not have a will despite being aware of his diagnosis for four years. As we reported, he passed away from colon cancer on Aug. 28. He was just 43 and is also survived by his parents.
Per reports, the estimated value of Boseman’s estate is $938,500. Boseman and Ledward secretly wed in 2020. They had dated since 2015, right before his cancer diagnosis. They got engaged in 2019.
