Donald Trump slept well last night, knowing that he had successfully stormed his way through the presidential election, securing his return to the White House.
The election was officially called after Trump was projected to win in battleground Wisconsin, which pushed the Republican over the top with a total of 276 electoral votes. Despite his previous attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results, as well as facing two presidential impeachments, a criminal conviction, and numerous other criminal charges, Trump will now become the first convicted felon and the oldest person to hold office.

Following his surprising win, the former president addressed his supporters at his election night watch party in West Palm Beach, Florida, early Wednesday morning after FOX News declared him the winner of the 2024 presidential election. He stated,
“I want to thank the American people for the extraordinary honor of being elected your 47th president, and your 45th president, and every citizen. And I will fight for you, for your family, and your future. Every single day I will be fighting for you, and with every breath in my body. I will not rest until we have delivered the strong, safe, and prosperous America that our children deserve, and that you deserve,” he said. “This will truly be the golden age of America. That’s what we have to have. This is a magnificent victory for the American people that will allow us to make America great again.”
JD Vance has since tweeted, “THANK YOU! To my beautiful wife for making it possible to do this. To President Donald J. Trump, for giving me such an opportunity to serve our country at this level. And to the American people, for their trust. I will never stop fighting for ALL of you.”
