HU Exclusive: Giving You the Keys To Episode 12 Of “So You Think You Can Dance”

Hollywood Unlocked was in the building for Episode 12 of Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance” and we have the exclusive interviews right here!

Now in its 15th season, Monday night’s episode of “So You Think You Can Dance” sent four dancers to the next round leaving just two episodes left before a winner is crowned.

But before that happened, the final six performers took to the stage and delivered amazing performances.

Jensen Arnold, Hannahlei Cabanilla, Genessy Castillo, Jay Jay Dixonbey, Darius Hickman and Slavik Pustovoytov were each partnered with an all-star for their first dance. They then were put in pairs for the nights’ final dance.

Jensen was paired with Jay Jay to perform a Tahitian style dance. Genessy and Slavik performed a salsa piece. Hannahlei and Darius performed an Argentine Tango as a first-time couple due to their original partners being eliminated last week!

The one dance that stood out came from Darius who’s performance had a powerful message behind it.

His dance represented those who may be having a hard time trying to fit into what society deems as normal. His message was to be who you are and feel comfortable with yourself no matter what anyone has to say.

With the votes being from last week’s episode, two dancers were sent home. Darius and Jay Jay did their final dance and did not proceed to the final four. That left Jensen, Hannahlei, Genessy, and Slavik who advanced to next week’s episode where there will be no eliminations leading into the final show.

HU Exclusive: Giving You The Keys To The Royal Red Carpet At The 2018 Black Girls Rock!

On August 26, many celebrities gathered together to celebrate another year of black women and black excellence at the 2018 Black Girls Rock Awards!

Hollywood Unlocked was front and center on the royal red carpet where we got to speak to a few celebs who were there to honor the achievements of Black women across a variety of industries.

We talked with stars like Skai Jackson, Kyla Pratt, Rapsody and more who all shared how important it is to highlight and support women who are are making major contributions to the world, like Queen Latifah, Mary J. Blige, dance pioneer Judith Jamison and many more.

The big award show will air live on BET September 9th. The evening, hosted by Queen Latifah, honored Janet Jackson, Naomi Campbell, Lena Waithe and more, as well as paid tribute to Aretha Franklin.

Brittney opens up about her life as a little person and how she has performed with Miley Cyrus and other major stars! She details life on “Little Women: LA” and the community of little people. We even get a biology lesson, she reveals that everybody in the world has a little person gene!

Nicki Minaj and Safaree sent social media into a storm this week with their Twitter beef. The back and forth tweeting soon escalated to the topic of Safaree’s fake hairline, that Nicki claims she bought.

Jason says he loves Nicki and that “Queen” is a great album, but, he can’t listen to it straight through like Cardi B’s album. However, Jason adds there is so much “sneak dissing” in Nicki’s album that it downplays the greatness. Not to mention an artist claims that Nicki stole her music for her song “Barbie Dreams.”

Our hosts believe that Nicki should embrace women uniting and do a song with Cardi to shut down all the beef and involve all the other upcoming female rappers, but, it will not happen until Nicki humbles herself.

Elise Neal is an American actress, model, and dancer, appearing in the films like “Rosewood,” “Money Talks” and “Scream 2.”

Elise isn’t shy and dives straight into the show by talking about her love life, including when she first met rapper Rick Ross, and she adds the love had nothing to to do with his weight. You know our hosts had a lot to say about Rozay. Torrei had to ask if he brought gravy to the bedroom! Fortunately, Elise says she never had “food sex.” She also reveals that she had dated a few artists on their rise.

Elise has some strong opinions on dating in today’s generation, including that men are a struggle. Even men like 50 Cent can be sensitive and expect too much! So Kanan has a soft spot, who would have thought.

This week on Hollywood Unlocked UNCENSORED Jason Lee, Giovanni and Torrei Hart are joined by Project Youngin’.

This week Project Youngin’ takes the hot seat, following his controversial music video release where he was shot on Instagram live. Many believe the “fake death” was a ploy to “clout-chase”, especially following the murder of XXXtentacion.

Youngin’ says it was just a video to promote his music and to share the message that we should pay attention to people while they are here and not until they die. He adds that people love cinematic videos and the views get paid, that’s all that matters. However, our hosts say they can’t respect the whole idea of “pulling stunts”, and that it’s important to think of the longevity of your career.

Project Youngin’ opens up about growing up in a group home from the age of 15, and how he didn’t’ stop going to school and succeeding. He graduated high school with a 4.2 GPA, but couldn’t’ stay at college for more than a year due to financial issues. He still has to take care of his family and his way out is his music.

Gervonta, 23, starts off by detailing his rough childhood as he was split up from his siblings and put in a foster home while living in Baltimore. Despite that, he explains how he beat the odds and became a successful boxer.

Gervonta also shares what his relationship is currently like with Floyd Mayweather and also gives us inside details on how he is as a new dad! Singer/songwriter K Michelle sits down in part 1 of our exclusive interview with Hollywood Unlocked CEO Jason Lee where she opens up about having image issues, her struggles following plastic surgery and her past relationships!

K Michelle opens up about her first experience with silicone shots, adding that they are not legal in the US and that it’s a practice for women to get the procedure done in a hotel room. She adds that the next day she achieved her voluptuous look, despite already being curvy. The procedure itself would later take a negative effect on her body. The singer admits she has been sick for over a year and a half, suffering from the repercussions of the surgery.

K then reveals her relationship with Idris Elba, who claimed he could never be with just one woman but adds that he gave “amazing head”. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for Lesean McCoy, who allegedly, has a small penis, and c*** too quick.

That’s not it! K Michelle then reveals that she didn’t want to be with Chad “Ochocinco” because his penis was too big!

She adds, ” I wanted my walls and I wanted to get a husband”. However, he did get her a pet monkey.

She adds how heartbroken she was when her father’s marriage to Mary ended, and where their relationship went from there.

Latrise reveals the details on one of her drunken LA nights where she woke up in a puddle in her own apartment. It all started with a frozen pizza from HYDE and drunken munchies. Who hasn’t fallen asleep while trying to make food drunk? Well, in Briana’s case it burned the whole luxury apartment down and she woke up to firemen and a puddle for an apartment!

Celebrities filled the UCLA Pauley Pavilion For the $50K Charity Challenge Celebrity Basketball Game and Hollywood Unlocked has the exclusive!

Hollywood Unlocked was in the building on Tuesday night as celebrities and hundreds of fans packed out the UCLA Pauley Pavilion for the $50K Charity Challenge Celebrity Basketball Game.

The teams consisted of athletes, actors, comedians, and social media influencers coached by Andre Drummond and Eric Dickerson. All these people were brought together under one roof to support not just one, but multiple amazing charities.

There were so many people in attendance who got to meet stars like Blake Griffin and Maria Menounos, Floyd Mayweather, Kendra Wilkinson, Terrell Owens, Tekashi 6ix 9ine, Rocsi Diaz, Laura Govan, Angel Brinks and the list just keeps going on and on.

During halftime, fans enjoyed performances from Sawettie and Tyga who brought out Iggy Azalea.

When talking to the players and celebs in attendance, they all had the same message about giving back to charity. It does not matter where you start or how you start, just find something that is close to your heart and give your time. It’s not always about giving money!
