President Biden To Announce That All Federal Workers Must Be Vaccinated, With No Option For Testing

Later this Thursday, President Biden will announce his plan to fight COVID-19 which will include vaccine and mask requirements, a White House official told media outlets.

According to Fox News, Biden will sign a new executive order requiring all federal workers to be vaccinated against Covid-19, with no option of being regularly tested to opt-out of the requirement.

It was said that his new order will direct the same standard for employees of the executive branch and contractors who do business with the federal government. So far, it’s not clear if Biden’s order includes exceptions for workers or contractors seeking religious or medical exemptions from vaccination.

Biden has previously encouraged COVID-19 vaccine requirements in settings like schools, workplaces, and university campuses, is likely to expand on those details and more in an address set for 5 p.m. Thursday.

Jimmy Kimmel Suggests Unvaxxed Shouldn’t Get ICU Beds: ‘Rest In Peace, Wheezy!’

This week, Jimmy Kimmel returned to hosting his late-night television show, where he said he does not think unvaccinated people should get ICU beds.

While ranting about inflated COVID-19 rates Kimmel said, “Dr. Fauci said if hospitals get any more crowded, they’re going to have to make some very tough choices about who gets an ICU bed. That choice doesn’t seem so tough to me.”

He then joked, “Vaccinated person having a heart attack? Yes, come right on in, we’ll take care of you. Unvaccinated guy who gobbled horse goo? Rest in peace, wheezy.”

According to data from John Hopkins University, there were 1.146 million weekly COVID cases this past weekend compared to 287,235 last year. Meanwhile, according to the New York Post, the number of cases has risen drastically, so have the average number of daily deaths, which jumped more than 131 percent. In addition to this, the number of hospitalizations and patients in ICU beds has been rising along with everything else.

Jennifer Lawrence is pregnant!

According to PEOPLE magazine, the 31-year-old is expecting her first child with her husband, art gallery director Cooke Maroney.

Photos taken by paparazzi showed Lawrence with a little baby bump. It’s unclear how far along she is. Reps for the star also confirmed the exciting news with the outlet. Per the magazine, the Oscar winner star was first linked to the 37-year-old art dealer back in June 2018. According to Entertainment Tonight, the pair had an “instant connection and they were engaged by February 2019.

As E! Notes, Jennifer has previously talked abo wanting time start a family, telling Diane Sawyer in 2015, “I definitely want to be a mother.” The next year, she shared with Glamour, “I imagine I’ll have children, and then my whole life will just seem complete.”

Former Georgia District Attorney Booked On Charges Of Obstructing Ahmaud Arbery Case

Jackie Johnson, former district attorney in Georgia has been arrested on charges linked to her alleged mishandling of the case of Ahmaud Arbery — the young Black man who was pursued and gunned down as he jogged through a Brunswick neighborhood last year.

This Wednesday, the ex-Glynn County District Attorney turned herself in to the Glynn County Sheriff’s office after a grand jury returned an indictment on counts of obstruction and violations of oath by a public officer last week. However, Johnson was released from the Glynn County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond, according to the Atlanta Journal.

As the news site notes, state prosecutors believe that she used her position to delay arrests of the White men who chased and killed the 25-year-old Arbery.

As we previously reported, father and son Greg and Travis McMichael chased the young Black man in a pickup truck on Feb. 23, 2020, after they spotted Arbery running in their neighborhood just outside the port city of Brunswick. The neighbor, William “Roddie” Bryan, chawed along and took a cellphone video of Travis McMichael fatally shooting Arbery.

The McMichaels claimed to police they thought Arbery was a burglar and that Travis McMichael shot him in self-defense. However, the McMichaels as well as Bryan are now jailed as they await trial on murder charges.

Superstar HoodCelebrityy recently made a guest appearance on Angela Yee’s Lip Service and dished on her love/sex life.

‘Tiger King’ ZooKeeper Erik Cowie Dead At 53

One of the zookeepers featured on the Netflix show “Tiger King” has died, according to TMZ.

Erik Cowie’s body was found face down in the bedroom of a residence in NYC. Law enforcement sources told the outlet that although he was found by a friend, there’s nothing suspicious about the death at this point, and no drugs were found on the scene. Still, a toxicology test will likely be performed.

Cowie has made several appearances on Netflix’s hit show. He’s often cited as the head keeper of Joe Exotix’s big cats and stuck around to work at the GW Zoo even after Joe got thrown in the slammer.

Aside from that, Cowie testified against Joe — saying he’d seen Joe order some of the zoo animals to be shot and killed — which contributed to his conviction, TMZ notes.

Joe has made many public statements to TMZ in the past while behind bars but he has yet to make one about Cowie.
